Surely you’ve heard of Ben and Erin Napier of Laurel Mississippi. They are the couple featured on HGTV’s show Home Town. This very popular show is a huge hit and strikes its viewers with “…helpings of small-town love and feel-good energy.” It has revitalized Laurel and has attracted lots of new residents, businesses and tourists!

Maybe this blog post can serve as an open letter to the Napiers…. Please come visit Lake Martin! Parts of it are only about 20 minutes away from downtown Wetumpka. You could easily hop over to Lake Martin, take a boat ride or something, and be back on set in no time. Trust me.. you’re the stars of the show.. they will wait for you!! Ha!
Seriously, I do think one of the best parts about Wetumpka is its close proximity to Lake Martin. It’s 880 miles of shoreline that is only about 30% developed. Please come see us!
